Founded in 1920, the Associated Industries of Florida (AIF) has represented the principles of prosperity and free enterprise before the three branches of state government. The AIF is a voluntary association of diversified businesses and was created to foster an economic climate in Florida conducive to the growth, development, and welfare of industry and business and the people of the state. AIF also encourages and supports the business and industrial enterprises of Florida, while affording a medium for their cooperation, protecting against unjust action and advocating fair and equitable legislation affecting the welfare of its members.
