Better Courts for Missouri is a coalition of Missourians, dedicated to fixing the method by which Missouri judges are selected. The judges on our highest courts make decisions that profoundly affect every Missourian. One of these issues is tort reform, which the Missouri Supreme Court has agreed to have oral arguments on in early 2010. Our organization has been highlighting the influence trial attorneys have in the select of judges and the threat this poses to business and the rule of law. Our goals are simple, to ensure openness, accountability, independence, and excellence are represented in the Missouri judiciary.
