Founded in 1893, the Illinois Manufacturers' Association (IMA) is the oldest and largest statewide manufacturing trade association in the United States. IMA's mission is to strengthen the economic, social, environmental and governmental conditions for manufacturing interest in Illinois. The 4,300 IMA member companies have a full-time staff working for them to better the Illinois' business climate.
