Steve has served as head of public affairs for FFCJ since its founding in 2004 and was elected President and CEO in 2009.
During his consulting career, he has supervised complex public affairs and litigation management initiatives for more than 100 Fortune 500 companies. He has been engaged by more than 50 major corporate foundations to help develop giving strategy, policies and program evaluation techniques.
Steve has worked with scores of nonprofit organizations on communications, marketing and management objectives. During the 1990s, he served as Corporate Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the Prudential Financial corporate law department, which then included more than 300 lawyers and an annual budget of more than $250 million.
Steve has written several management books including Leveraging the Impact of Public Affairs, a 400-page handbook on maximizing the benefits to be achieved from government affairs, corporate communications, issues management and other stakeholder disciplines. His articles have been published in many magazines, including Chief Legal Executive, PR Quarterly, National Law Journal, Corporate Counsel, Metropolitan Corporate Counsel and the leading legal management magazine of China.
