Todd Young is Vice President – Public Affairs for the Foundation for Fair Civil Justice. The mission of the Foundation is to educate, motivate and empower the American people about the urgent need for legal reform in the U.S.
Since 1989, Todd has served in various legal, policy and communications positions for Fortune 500 companies, national public interest organizations, and professional associations. In 1999, he was selected for The Heritage Foundation’s Guide to Public Policy Experts, an annual publication listing top policy analysts in the U.S. As a multi-disciplinary, multi-year entrant, Todd provides timely research, legislative testimony, and media commentary on a range of business and constitutional issues. His work appears regularly in national publications, on talk radio, and on national and regional television news programs.
In 2003, Todd was chosen as one of the “16 To Watch Under 40,” an annual listing of top professionals under the age of 40 selected by The Daily Report, Georgia’s daily legal newspaper. He has drafted blueprint legislation that has been adopted in more than a dozen states on issues ranging from Unemployment Insurance tax cuts to private property protections limiting government power of eminent domain for private development purposes.
Todd received a B.A. from Davidson College, Davidson, NC and a J.D. from Georgia State University College of Law.
